Nearly half of Brits think LGBTQ+ people are over-represented on TV, survey finds

More than four in 10 (44%) Britons think LGBTQ+ people are over-represented on television, according to new findings from YouGov. The survey of 1,000 people also found that roughly the same amount of respondents (45%) believe ethnic minorities are over-represented on screen, with just 26% viewing them as under-represented. Britons were found to be more likely than the five other nationalities surveyed to view broadcast media as an inaccurate representation of society.
