Drag Race is finally giving us what we asked for

One thing about RuPaul’s Drag Race is that there will be discourse. With such a massively popular show, it’s a bit inevitable that almost every action (or inaction) by RuPaul and the show’s producers cause conversation. Last week, Marcia Marcia Marcia complained about the show no longer requiring queens to sing for the Rusical (amongst other grievances.) The fandom rose up and cried foul pretty much unanimously when the show was shortened to hour-long episodes and the series later uploaded them at their full length.  Well, there’s a chance season…

The Devil Wears Prada Musical: Vanessa Williams teases her version of Miranda Priestly

Vanessa Williams has shared new details about her highly anticipated debut in The Devil Wears Prada musical.  In February, it was announced that the Desperate Housewives star would be stepping into the iconic stilettos of Miranda Priestly in the West End adaptation of Lauren Weisberger’s best-selling 2003 novel. Oscar-winner Meryl Streep famously portrayed the character in the popular 2006 film – which the musical will also take inspiration from.  “Bringing Miranda Priestly to life in the West End is an absolute dream come true. Gird your loins, folks,” she told Variety at the time. Williams’ casting was…

Drag Race UK vs the World: All 8 Snatch Game performances, ranked

Major spoilers ahead for the fourth episode of Drag Race UK vs the World.  ‘Unhinged’ is the adjective we’d use to describe this week’s edition of Snatch Game – and, to be honest, it’s the adjective we always want to use in reference to Drag Race‘s staple challenge. Rather that than “romper room fuckery”, huh? For their fourth maxi, the eight remaining contestants on UK vs the World season two – Choriza May, Gothy Kendoll, Hannah Conda, Keta Minaj, La Grande Dame, Marina Summers, Scarlet Envy and Tia Kofi – flexed…

The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal wants to ‘make out’ with Kieran Culkin

Pedro Pascal may have won the Best Male Actor in a Drama Series at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for his role in The Last of Us, however it appears that revenge is best served via a kiss. In his post-SAG-win interview with Queer Eye’s Tan France, who was acting as Netflix’s backstage correspondent, the style guru asked Pascal “how badly” he was “going to rag Kieran [Culkin] at the afterparty”. The actor, who had previously announced on stage that he was “a little drunk”, shared that he’s “going…

Drag Race UK vs the World: We give this “immersive experience” a boot

Major spoilers ahead for the third episode of Drag Race UK vs the World. Ahh, we were on such a winning streak with the second season of Drag Race UK vs the World. The first two episodes boasted some pretty accurate judging (a concept we love), fun challenges (samey-samey, but they worked) and tremendous runways (La Grande Dame’s Alien-inspired She-Vil look… still thinking about her). And compared to season one, the eliminations have been fair. Hard, because we want to see more of these legendary queens (and their runway package),…

‘I can write clever s**t’: Drag Race star Megami reveals Snatch Game character

After sashaying away from Drag Race season 16, Megami has revealed who she would have portrayed in the franchise’s staple challenge, the Snatch Game. The Brooklyn queen was the fifth to be eliminated after failing to impress the panel in ‘The Sound of Rusic’. Megami found herself in the bottom two with Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige, where the pair dualed it out in a lip-sync to Grammy winning single ‘Flowers’ by Miley Cyrus. In the following episode, the nine remaining queens showcased their best celebrity impressions as they went head-to-head in…
