In a massive blow to LGBTQ+ rights, Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt has signed another bill targeting trans youth. On 19 May, conservative lawmakers in the state’s Senate and House of Representatives passed the archaic SB 615 with a 38-7 vote. Under the harmful legislation, schools will require students to use restrooms that reflect the gender on their original birth certificates.
