Labour MP Nadia Whittome has called on the UK government to help two LGBTQ+ activists that were sentenced to death in Iran. UN representatives have called for Iran to cancel its planned execution of two women LGBTQ+ rights activists. Two men were reportedly executed in an Iranian prison six years after being convicted of charges related to homosexuality.
