In a massive step back for trans rights, FINA has placed new restrictions on transgender women competing in swimming competitions. On 19 June, the world’s swimming governing body announced its new gender inclusion policy. Utah governor Spencer Cox announced that he’d be vetoing the state’s horrific anti-trans sports ban. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, state lawmakers introduced the transphobic House Bill 11 during a legislative session on 4 March.
