London is getting its first-ever LGBTQ+ Community Centre

London’s first LGBTQ+ Community Centre will open for a six-month pop-up to provide a safe space run by the community for the community. Based in the heart of the city on Bankside near the Tate Modern, the Centre is supported by the Mayor of London and Southwark Council. New guidance suggests creating “open” and “universal” categories could be the way to include transgender people in sport.
