Over 150 people seek compensation from British Armed Forces after being fired for their sexuality

The number is expected to rise. A Freedom of Information request from The Independent has revealed that 159 members of the British Armed Forces, who say they were fired because of their sexuality, have so far contacted the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for compensation.
